Soteria plays a significant role in helping today’s companies understand and keep up with Industry 4.0.

We were proud to be invited to hold a conference by the Italian Military and Italian Industrial Union in Torino, Italy this past month. The topic was “Cyber Security in the Age of Industry 4.0.”

More than 20 leading Italian companies attended the conference. Our goal was to help them confront the challenges that arise when evolving to the ultra-connectivity demands of Industry 4.0. The companies that attended ranged from FCA, Ferrari and other various car manufacturers, to Telecom Italia and other telecommunication companies. They appreciated our unique approach of tackling the specific security risks and related vulnerabilities that complex-structured organizations face.

We proposed manageable solutions that combine the use of cutting-edge technologies with process-proven methodologies. Our focus was on the importance of having educated and prepared teams that are ready to face the potential cybersecurity challenges that technology can’t solve by itself.

To demonstrate a solution, we presented CYWARIA, SOTERIA’s Next Generation Cyber Range. The attendees were able to see how CYWARIA creates and educates cyber professionals to improve organizational resiliency in the face of a cybersecurity threat.

It was our honor to bring our knowledge of cybersecurity in Industry 4.0 to the wonderful city of Torino. We’re grateful to have been able to interact with true Italian innovators, all leaders of their prospective industries.
